Seoul
Seoul is at the heart of the Korean Peninsula. The capital city of the Republic of Korea, Seoul, as of the end of 2010, had a population of some 10,437,326 people with a total of 4,114,216 households. This represented roughly a quarter of the population of the Republic of Korea, despite the city accounting for less than 1 percent of the country’s area.
