Germany

Germany
Germany is Europe's most industrialized and populous country. Famed for its technological achievements, it has also produced some of Europe's most celebrated composers, philosophers and poets. Germany has one of the world's highest levels of education, technological development, and economic productivity. Since the end of World War II, the number of young people registering for university level education has more than tripled. In 2010, the gross domestic product grew by 3.6%, and the German economy experienced its strongest rate of growth since reunification. The country’s export-dependent economy is growing more quickly than the Eurozone average. It is expected to grow by 2.6% in 2011, with exports to emerging markets playing an increasingly important role.
