He has been with EMA Partners since 2002 and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, serving as the North American Regional Chair.
Chris is the Global Head of EMA’s Global Payments, Fintech & Transaction Services (GP, F&TS) Practice and co-leads the North American Technology and Financial Services practices. He is also an active member of the firm’s AI, Digital, and Board & CEO Services practices.
Based in New York and Toronto, Chris leads CEO and C-level searches for public, private, and investor-backed organizations globally. His work encompasses high-growth fintech and technology companies, as well as large-cap financial institutions and businesses undergoing transformation, scale, and reinvention.
Chris is widely recognized for his expertise across the evolving financial ecosystem, including payments, fintech, and digital platforms. He has partnered with leading Big Tech and platform companies, financial institutions, as well as emerging innovators building next-generation, platform-led, AI-enabled, and autonomous financial ecosystems driven by high-frequency consumer engagement and embedded financial services.
His work focuses on leadership at the intersection of financial services, product, data, and AI, including emerging areas such as agentic commerce and agentic payments, where traditional models are being reshaped by platform strategies, embedded finance, blockchain technologies, digital assets, and intelligent autonomous transaction models.
Chris has deep experience placing senior executives across a broad range of functional areas, including product, technology, AI & data science, finance, risk, compliance, and commercial leadership, as well as highly specialized roles in areas such as payments, fraud, digital innovation, blockchain, and cryptocurrency.
He is highly regarded for his ability to identify and advise on leadership in complex, competitive, and talent-constrained markets.
