As a Managing Principal Jo has over twenty years of search experience and has successfully executed numerous searches at the senior executive and Board level. Additionally, Jo leads the intermediate level practice for EMA Partner’s New York and Toronto offices and is a senior member of the firm’s Digital, Fintech, Payments, Financial Services and Technology Practice Groups. Supporting both large corporate enterprise and privately owned start-up and VC backed clients across all functional disciplines, Jo has deep expertise in placing senior leaders in the areas of Product, Technology, Digital Transformation, Risk, Analytics, HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing.
An active sponsor for EDI in search, Jo has served as a member of the Women in Payments Awards Committee since its inception in 2015 and has established an impressive internal network of contacts within the Canadian and U.S. digital and payments ecosystem.
Before joining EMA Partners in 2007, Jo worked within the internal HR department of a prominent Canadian marketing communications and branded content company, supporting the organization’s recruitment activities across all business lines. Prior to this engagement, she spent six years working within a boutique recruitment firm, supporting clients in the areas of information technology and financial services.
