Paula Pato joined EMA Partners has Senior Associate Partner in November 2023. She has a diversified professional career, spanning from financial audit (PwC), planning and control, investor relations, internal and external communications (Vodafone), to executive search and talent attraction (Egon Zehnder, McKinsey).
At McKinsey, she provided dedicated sourcing expertise to identify, attract and hire external Direct Elect Partner level talent to meet the strategic senior leadership needs and deliver on the firm’s diversity and inclusion goals. As Head of Research at Egon Zehnder, Paula performed executive searches for C-level positions, supported management consulting services, and contributed to business development strategy definition and implementation.
Previously, as Head of Brand, Communication and Public Relations, she had extensive experience in a competitive market environment. Leading the Vodafone’s Corporate Communication department, she contributed to the strong reputation of the company in Portugal, as well as to the market leadership in terms of media editorial coverage. With a solid financial background, Paula has worked in Investor Relations, Planning and Control and Financial Audit.
Paula holds a Business Administration Degree from ISEG Lisbon School of Economics & Management complemented by an IT and Telecommunications Advanced Management Program from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
