Gopi serves as a Partner at EMA Partners and is a key figure of the firm’s Global Industrial, Energy & Natural Resources Practice, where he orchestrates high impact senior level board, general management, functional, and technical leadership assignments across key Asia markets. His tenure with the firm, spanning more than a decade, has been marked by his contributions to the establishment and expansion of various practice groups within the India remit.

Over the years, Gopi has emerged as the go-to advisor for clients seeking to fill leadership positions at local, regional, and international levels. Since his induction into the firm's ranks in 2011, he has helmed a plethora of executive search and succession planning assignments catering to entities of diverse magnitudes and ownership architectures - including publicly traded multinational entities, private equity ventures, and family-run conglomerates. His counsel has been sought after by a diverse array of industries spanning automotive, chemicals, clean tech, construction, electronics, industrial machinery, oil & gas, and mining, for some of their most pressing leadership conundrums.

Prior to his foray into Leadership Hiring & Consulting, Gopi traversed the corridors of blue-chip multinationals and boutique consulting firms, shaping strategies and insights for their clients across the realms of Asia Pacific, Africa, and Europe. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has earned a master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
